When do new students gain access to library e-resources?

Indiana University students are eligible to start using library resources once their status in ADS has been updated to "enrolled." This typically occurs 1-2 days after they register for classes. Until this point, they will be unable to access e-resources unless they are physically on the IU Southeast campus.

For more information about the transition from admitted to enrolled, see the KB article, "Lifecyle of typical computing accounts from creation to deletion." The "IU account access chart for non-enrolled students" KB article breaks down exactly what types of access non-enrolled students have and includes a row for online library resources.
