How do I add a link to a journal article in my Canvas site?

To provide access to journal articles that are paid for by the IU Southeast Library, you will need to add the follow prefix to the URL of the article:

https://proxyse.uits.iu.edu/login?url=

When you copy the EZProxy snippet and add it to the beginning of any URL, this IU Southeast-specific link will trigger authentication by directing you to log in through IU Login.  Additional information about persistent links and adding a proxy prefix is available on the Persistent Links & Proxy Link Generator LibGuide.

If you want to provide a link to one of our databases (e.g., PsycINFO), you can use the URL from our Databases A-Z list.  These "friendly" URLs include our proxy prefix already and don't need to be modified.
