How can I access materials from other IU Libraries?

You can request print books from other IU campuses using "Request Delivery" in IUCAT.

Access to online databases, electronic books, and electronic journals is based on your primary campus affiliation with Indiana University (if you are an IUS student, you will only have access to resources available from the IUS Library). Each campus purchases its own licenses for library materials, and license agreements require the libraries to guarantee that anyone who uses the materials is a student, faculty member, or staff member at that campus. Note that if you are visiting another IU campus, you can log in and access their resources on-campus using your IUS username and passphrase.

If you teach or take classes at another campus besides IUS, you can request access to resources available at the second campus. To do so, submit the Request Educational Access to E-Resources on Another Campus form. Library staff from that campus will contact you to request supporting documentation.

Additional information about electronic resources at other campuses is available on the IUB Libraries website.
